Looking towards St Ives, in the foreground to the left, you can still see the hinges, that held the drawbridge in place. Which was erected by the Parliamentary forces in 1645.
This is the Chapel looking from the St Ives bank of the river, it shows the Chapel without the two brick storeys that had originally been added in 1736. Which were finally removed in 1930.
